In case you missed it, Gossip Genie celebrated ten years in business on February 10th. It’s hard to believe the company that started off as one woman with a dream has flourished and grown into a nationally-recognized social media marketing agency, with clients all over the world, and a team of over 10!
To celebrate a decade of granting wishes, Gossip Genie hosted an epic anniversary party. Clients, colleagues, coworkers, family, and friends joined us from near and far to commemorate this major milestone. Below is a recap of the night.
Throughout the course of this past decade, we’ve had the pleasure of working with clients in every industry imaginable – from septic tanks to infertility agencies. Our celebration was a reflection of the many wonderful relationships we have cultivated over the years. It was an honor to host all of our clients, especially the ones that made a special trip just to attend, such as National Restaurant Association and the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation/ProStart- all the way from DC. We had the privilege of sharing client product with our guests and want to extend a gracious token of appreciation to Kernel Season’s for supplying a popcorn bar complete with all the fixins, and Vienna Beef for the Mini Bagel Dogs.
We wouldn’t be where we are today without the support of our clients, therefore, we presented various clients with a unique Gossip Genie award. We were honored to present the ‘Lifetime Achievement’ award to the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation (NRAEF) for being a Gossip Genie client for as long as we have been in existence, 10 YEARS! We are so proud of all the work we’ve been able to accomplish together.
The National Restaurant Association, NRAEF’s sister company was presented with our ‘Worth the Wait’ award. While we have been working with the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation for the past 10 years, we just recently began working with the National Restaurant Association itself and we couldn’t ask for a more considerate, supportive, and enjoyable client to work with. It was definitely worth the wait!
To be frank, we’ve relished our time working with Vienna Beef! They are such a wonderful team and make everyone feel welcomed and valued. Their entire team (and their hot dogs) will always be near and dear to our hearts! That’s why we awarded them with the ‘Longevity Award,’ for our 5-year partnership!
You know what they say about going back to old relationships… Sometimes you both grow and the reunion is even better than you could have expected! We have thoroughly enjoyed getting back together with one of our first clients, Chicago Custom Foods. And, of course, we love them even more for sponsoring the popcorn bar that night!
In addition to honoring our clients, we also handed out awards to some of our partners as well. From Taste Media Group to our videographer, Max, and everyone else in-between, each of our partners has contributed to the success of Gossip Genie. We couldn’t be more thankful for their support and encouragement throughout the years!
The fun didn’t stop there! To kick off the night, Jacqui entertained our guests with a NSFW comedy set highlighting the highs and lows of owning a small business.
All in all, it was a great night honoring all of the hard work Gossip Genie has accomplished throughout the years. Thank you again to everyone that made the evening so special, save the date for our 20-year celebration on 02/10/30.
