My name is Nicole Economou and I am the newest member of the Gossip Genie team! Here are 10 fun facts about me:
- I am a first-generation American. My parents were born in London (yes, they have accents!) and my father’s family is from Cyprus. My Cypriot culture is very important to me! 🇺🇸🇬🇧🇨🇾
- I have lived in Lincoln Park my whole life! Minus college.
- I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign with a major in Agricultural Communications and a concentration in Advertising. Go Illini basketball! 🧡💙
- I can speak Greek conversationally and plan to spend a year of my life living in Cyprus. 🌊
- I love Chicago restaurants and believe that the best spots can be found in Lincoln Park & River North. 🍽
- I am a huge extrovert! If I could be surrounded by good people all the time, I would never want to be alone.
- I’m a July baby and I believe that I am a tried and true Cancer. I am a highly emotional person and those who are close to me come first. 🥺
- I studied abroad in Thessaloniki, Greece and have traveled to Cyprus, Hungary, Austria, and the Netherlands. Exploring new places excites me. ✈️
- My favorite cheeses are halloumi, burrata, and manchego. Let’s make a charcuterie board!
- Working in the world of social media has been a long-time goal of mine. 😊
