He’d be 85 years old today.

It’s been over 45 years since Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s death, yet his stirring words, script and motivational influence remain just as significant today as they did when he was alive.

Driven and inspired by supporters of nonviolence, Dr. King sought equality for African Americans, the underclass and victims of discrimination, as well as played a key role in the civil rights movement
