Last weekend, I moved for the 11th time in Chicago. Because one of our clients is WilliamPaid, a website that allows users to pay rent online and landlords to collect rent online, I am constantly immersed in content revolving around roommates, moving day, apartment hunting, etc. As I began the apartment search, I was already aware of the many online resources to help me with the process. It’s only right of me to share them with you!
Of course, I’m going to suggest you like WilliamPaid on Facebook and follow their Pinterest boards because I write and share the content, but here are a few more resources for all of you renters out there!
Apartment Therapy – One of my favorite sites to get great DIY ideas and decorating tips! They are also one of the top sites to have their photos pinned to Pinterest!
MyMove is an AWESOME resource for movers! Since everyone moves, I suggest you check it out around the time of your move. Even me, the seasoned mover, learned a few things about moving day. 🙂
Apartment List is a great place to start apartment hunting because it separates listings by neighborhood. It takes apartment postings from all of the major listing sites and puts them all in one place for you! I was looking in Logan Square so this is what my map looked like:
