It’s time to be LOUD & PROUD. I’ve asked each Genie to pick 1 post that they are MOST proud of. Drum roll, please. Here are their favorites & why:
Taryn
Taryn is proud of her ProStart Program tweet to Ted Allen. Here’s why – “I came up with the idea to reach out to celebrity chefs and restauranteurs at ProStart’s culinary competition (NPSI) as a way to increase our reach and impressions throughout the event. When Ted Allen, the host of Chopped, replied that he wished he was there and would love to join next year, I flipped out. I told the ProStart team to keep following up with him throughout the year and low and behold, he became the first celebrity guest and keynote speaker for NPSI the following year. Thanks to that Tweet, they were able to build a relationship with him and they’ve continued to work with him on other initiatives as well. It was really exciting for me.”
Janelle
Janelle is proud of her Kernel Season’s giveaway post on Facebook. Here’s why – “Facebook is a pay-to-play platform, so it is VERY hard to get engagement (unless you spend money). 2,000+ comments later and this giveaway post completely took off. What’s even more exciting is that it was 100% organic.”
Violet
Violet is proud of her Vienna Beef post on #AprilFoolsDay. Here’s why – “It got really great engagement & I like being able to engage with our client’s fans & have fun with them. I think adding humor and humanizing our accounts is integral to their success.”
Lizz
Lizz is proud of her post for Southport Grocery & Cafe. Here’s why – “I did a series of cocktail recipes with Southport Grocery and this was one of my favorites to assemble. Their shrub had just won a nationally-recognized award, and pairing that deliciousness with Bourbon + citrus was my way of encouraging their followers to have some fun with the grocery’s fresh, house-made ingredients.”
Ashleigh
Ashleigh is proud of her Naot Footwear flat lay post. Here’s why – “It’s been a really fun way for me to not only practice my photography but also share my interest in fashion! Plus, we know that Pinterest can be quite tricky & this photo was seen by thousands.”
