If you’re a social media manager, then you know how much time goes into creating content. Although it’s important to showcase photos of your products and/or service on your social feed, it’s also great to mix up your content and include other relevant posts. Quote cards have become a great way to do this and people have been LOVING them. They’re relatable and a fun way for your followers to interact with your brand.
Follow these steps to creating an Instagram worthy quote card for your brand:
1. The Quote
Obviously, finding the quote is the first step when it comes to creating quote cards. If you’re going to start consistently posting these, you’re going to want to think about what kind of quotes are relevant to your brand. Are they going to be humorous, serious, fashion related? Figure out what makes sense to post on your pages and then search for quotes and sayings that you know your audience will be able to relate to. (Tip: they’re also great to post on different holidays!)

2. Fonts and Colors
The most important thing to keep in mind when it comes to designing the quote card is that the simpler it is the better. Never make your quote cards overwhelming. You want the post to be quick and to the point, and ultimately grab your followers attention. Use your brand’s colors, fonts, and logos to create an aesthetically pleasing design.

3. Captions
Captions can be tough when it comes time to post the quote card. You’re already posting an image with text, so the last thing you want to do is bombard your followers with more text in a lengthy caption. Keep things short and to the point so that your followers focus on the actual quote. Some great captions for quote cards are ones that direct your followers to tag a friend, comment if they can relate, or “like” if they agree! As we mentioned before, the simpler the better.
