So, It Began…
As of May 1st, I have been working at Gossip Genie for a month, and I have been loving every second of it. I graduated from college last spring with a degree in public relations and advertising, and through my internships, I developed a passion for social media. Working as an assistant social media manager for my first “big girl job” is a dream come true. So far, this job is everything I wanted and more.
What Is It Like Working Here?
Aside from the many office perks, including petting the office dogs, Alfie and Chewy, in between content calendars, there are many reasons I enjoy working here. What I love the most about working at Gossip Genie is that no two days are the same. I get to dip my hands into a bunch of different kinds f projects throughout the day. I’m a creative person with an analytical brain, and social media marketing caters perfectly to my personality. I get to create content that brings in results – the perfect duo.
What makes the Genies so special, along with their creativity and dedication, is their helpfulness. From the moment I walked into the office on my first day, everyone has been so inviting. At Gossip Genie, there is no such thing as too many questions – which is great because I ask a ton of them. Every Genie is willing to lend me a hand, and they made the job transition practically seamless.
In just one month, I have learned so much about social media marketing. From running social media ads to maintaining great client relationships, the lessons from Gossip Genie have powerful. I now have a few accounts that I work on regularly, and I have been able to put my creativity and time management skills to use. I can’t wait to continue refining my craft and taking on new projects.

If you were to ask me what my ideal first professional job would be, I would have described a place like Gossip Genie. I have so much more to learn, but I’m lucky to have the opportunity to grow alongside the Genies. Needless to say, I am very grateful to work here. I can’t wait to see what Gossip Genie has in store for me.
