As a social media manager, I’ve learned that utilizing your phone is just as important as utilizing your computer when it comes to getting the job done. You want to be able to access anything at any time and sometimes that calls for relying on your phone.
Here are a few apps that I’ve become BFFs with and have realized I truly can not live without:
1. Facebook pages
I recently found out about this app and it has become so helpful. If you’re a social media manager than you know how crucial it is to keep up a quick response rate on your social pages you manage. Facebook pages connects you to all your business profiles and give you access to edit, manage and reply to messages on your business pages (something you can’t do on the regular Facebook app).
2. Google Drive
This should be a given, but it oddly took me way too long to download this app and it’s definitely a game changer. Trust me, if you’ve tried to access a file without having the app then you know how much of a pain it is. This app allows you to quickly pull up your files and will ultimately save the day if you don’t have access to a computer.
3. Lightroom
If you’re a content creator, then you know how important it is to showcase high-quality imagery on your social pages you manage. If you use the desktop version of Lightroom/Photoshop then you 100% need the app as well. On top of that, I’ve found that Lightroom is the best photo app out there to quickly and professionally edit photos on the go.
4. UNUM
This is a must-have app if you’re creating content for pages that follow a certain theme or maintains a certain filter. Unum is basically a photo planning app that lets you add and move around photos. It’s a quick and easy way to visualize how your feed will look without having to add captions, tags, etc.
