We are always looking for inspiration, especially when it comes to content. Many of the Genies turn to other brand pages to garner new inspiration, as well as stay on trend. Here are six brands on Instagram right now that we think are absolutely killing it!

1. Set Active

This athleisure wear brand has become a favorite for models off duty and influencers alike. Their latest collaboration with Madeline Cline, Outerbanks leading lady, made waves in the social media world. They have tapped into the streetwear exclusive drops, by dropping limited edition colors that people set alarms to buy. A combination of “film” filters and natural unposed pictures has also made them sky rocket on Instagram.

Lesson to take from this company: Besides their trendy feed, they have a quick response time to fans messages, especially on “drop” days. They also go through and like + comment on all of their tagged photos, which a lot of brands neglect and forget to do.

2. Recess

These hemp infused bubbly drinks are the definition of killing it on Instagram. If there is a social media trend or a significant event taking place, you can count on Recess to make a killer brand related post about it.

Lessons to take from this company: Sometimes content can’t always be planned. Always having room in your content calendar for spur of the moment trends, memes, or new stories can lead to some of the best content.

3. Wendy’s

Wendy’s is famous for their Twitter clapbacks. Their Instagram, however, is also winning the game. A lot of their feed consists of memes, which a lot of users appreciate for their light-heartedness.

Lessons to take from this company – humor is key! Throwing in a funny post here and there can really make your feed stand out to consumers.

4. Halo Top and Halo Top Au

Their bright and colorful posts are the perfect example of an eye catching feed. Along with the perfect mixture of videos, they have their content down to a perfect science.

Lessons to take from this company – bright colors are fun, but having brand color palettes are key to have a cohesive feed. Textures also lead to incredibly engaging content.

5. Parade

We can’t seem to escape Parade influencer posts. Their influencer program is top notch and so is all their Instagram posts.

Lessons to take from this company – having a strong influencer presence can lead to amazing brand awareness and sales.

6. Coach

Early 2000’s style, also known as y2k, is back and so is everyone’s favorite purse brand. Coach had a complete brand refresh during quarantine and so did all of their social pages.

Lessons to take from this company: Nostalgia is an amazing tool to use in content creation. If bright colorful feeds, like halo top and parades aren’t for you – you can still create eye-catching feeds with pastels as well as vintage looking filters.
