New year, same great team of Genies.

Whether or not you take resolutions seriously, it’s a great practice to reflect on the accomplishments you hope to achieve in the future. I asked the Genies what they plan on working toward in the new year – here’s a look at their top goals for 2019 🎉

Jacqui

“I’d like to stop making myself feel guilty about not being able to attain the perfect work/life balance.”

Ashleigh

“My New Years resolution is to not rely on Uber Eats to feed me. I want to work harder at eating healthier and actually buy groceries for the week!!! Lean cuisines are great and all, but I think I need to leave them in 2018.”

Janelle

“I’d like to learn to shuffle dance, get better at Spanish, play the violin again, and learn self-defense.”

Violet

“My New Year’s Resolution is to take more time to relax and do things I love to do!”

Liz

“It’s probs gonna be not eat out so much because it adds up, gets expensive, and I end up wasting a lot of groceries.”

Anthony

“Travel more and expose myself to different places and cultures, be less indecisive, make quality-time for my family and friends, relinquish control and learn to delegate tasks better, and embrace my 30s!”

Lizz

“I’d like to travel to some cool places, learn to play the guitar and shuffle dance, and go to more concerts/live music shows if I can!”

Taryn

“I want to add a gratitude practice into my daily routine where I spend a few minutes each day reflecting on what I’m grateful for. On the surface, this might seem like a trivial exercise but I truly believe that it affects my sleep, anxiety, digestion, and overall wellbeing. When you devote time to thinking about what you’re grateful for, you can practically retrain your brain to reframe thoughts. ANYWAY, with all this said, I know the benefits but I want to resolve to actually follow through with this and add it into my daily routine!”
