Snap snap. 📸  With the latest technology of cameras in our mobile phones (Portrait mode on iPhones = WOW) there is also a demand for on-the-go photo editing apps.

If you haven’t already, it’s (been) time to say goodbye to Instagram filters. These apps will make you feel like a photo editing expert and help you create the most picture perfect photo.

Check them out:

VSCO

This is a super popular photo editing and filtering Instagram app. It has some really amazing filters that are free to use. My personal favorite is M5.

Lightroom

This is the perfect professional photo editing app. It is super easy to use and if you already have presets that you have bought or have created yourself, I found this app even more useful. It is the perfect option to create the same aesthetic across your entire Instagram feed.

Perfect 365

Have a blemish? Dark circles under your eyes? A couple of wrinkles that you don’t want to showcase? No problem. Perfect 365 will get rid of those and more. It is the master at altering your face to make it exactly how you want it to be.

TouchRetouch

This is the editing tool that I use when I want to remove something from my photo. It has different options of removal, but the one I use most often is clone stamp. It will help you remove any unwanted objects from your photos.

Layout

This app helps you make the collages that you always see. I almost never create collages, but on the off chance that I do, this is the app I would use. There are about 1,000 apps that do this and they all pretty much do the same thing. I choose Layout because it is the official app from Instagram.

Huji Cam

This one is a new, popular app that has been spreading across social media lately. It has the ability to create the look of a vintage, old disposable camera. It will “develop” your picture with a timestamp (optional) and alters your photo automatically with different light effects. The only negative I would say is that you do not have control over the way the photo edits – you enter in the photo and you get what it gives you (exactly like if you were developing a photo).

These apps will help take your photography to the next level. Try them out & let us know what you think!
