Influencer outreach is a powerful and effective strategy for promoting awareness of your brand. The goal is to connect with an influencer who has the ability to influence the members of their audience. People tend to trust social influencers way more than fancy advertising campaigns because consumers look up to experts, peers, friends, or family for guidance and recommendations on their purchases. Having an influencer on board with your brand establishes a sense of credibility and if done right, can effectively increase brand promotion and leverage sales. THE CLIENT

Chicago Custom Foods is  consumer goods company based out of Chicago, Illinois. They are leaders in branded seasonings sold to consumers at movie theaters and retailers throughout the United States, including mass merchants, grocery stores, and specialty retailers. They are the makers of Kernel Season’s popcorn seasonings, Tasty Shakes oatmeal add-ins, Veggie Season’s vegetable seasonings, and Truffle Season’s popcorn seasonings.

THE GOAL

The goal of this influencer initiative is to increase brand awareness and sales for all product lines through paid and unpaid partnerships with key individuals within the industry.

THE RESULTS

Tasty Shakes

Tasty Shakes was relatively new to the market and wanted to increase its reach. From May 2019 – March 2020 (11-month initiative), we have successfully executed 60 separate social media collaborations with influencers. This allowed Tasty Shakes to be seen in front of the eyes of a combined 809,722 followers. During this time, the Tasty Shakes Instagram page received 1,204,760 impressions (78.1% increase), 11,243 engagements (27.6% increase), and 4,897 profile actions (147% increase). The page itself grew by 169.76%

Kernel Season’s

As a well-established popcorn brand, the goal of this initiative was to increase awareness for its Movie Theater Butter Oil (MTBO) in the month of March 2020. With both paid and unpaid partnerships, we were able to secure 17 influencers in one month. This resulted in the placement of the MTBO in front of 589,696 combined followers. During this one month, impressions quadrupled and we had a 317% increase (2,304,120 impressions), link clicks doubled and resulted in a 130% increase (4,451 link clicks), and engagements had a 20% increase (15,463 engagements).

Veggie Season’s

Influencer outreach for Veggie Season’s began in March 2020. In one month, we have secured 4 influencers with a combined reached of 50,209 followers. During this time, Veggie Season’s Instagram page had a 54.6% increase in impressions, 35.5% increase in engagements and 194% increase in profile actions!

Truffle Season’s
Truffle Season’s is a BRAND NEW white truffle popcorn seasoning available to the market this month (April 2020). We began its influencer initiative and have 6 confirmed influencers on a product-exchange basis already. This will allow the brand to reach the influencers’ 40,908 combined followers. We’re excited to see the results as they flow in this month.
