The holiday season is the perfect time to enjoy all the treats you don’t get the rest of the year. One of my favorites? Festive cocktails! A great drink doesn’t have to be complicated – but put away the sherbet and Sprite – I beg of you. Whether you shake up a classic or mix something out of the ordinary, these recipes are a simple way to add some Christmas Spirit(s) to the winter months 🎄🎁

Pomegranate Ginger Palomas

Basic Palomas are perfectly sweet + bitter, with a refreshing grapefruit ZING. This recipe subs traditionally festive flavors for a drink that’ll leave you VERY merry.

Kumquat-Champagne Cocktails

Kumquats have a hilarious name, I know. They also are absolutely DELICIOUS. To me, they taste like mini clementines – tart, citrusy, and fragrant AF. Plus, this recipe is so easy, you can whip it out last minute and impress your guests!

Salted Caramel White Russians

Short, sweet, to the point – that’s the beauty of this three-ingredient White Russian. If fruity flavors aren’t your style, this cocktail is sure to satisfy.

Sparkling Clementine Thyme Cocktail

Gotta be honest, this drink has me drooling. Fizzy and bright, a clementine cocktail will chase all your winter blues away and offer a refreshing way to booze up.

Grapefruit Ranch Water

Ok, I gotta say it. Whoever named this ‘ranch water’, explain yourself. Kinda gross.
This libation, however, is anything but! Grapefruit is the perfect winter citrus to make you forget it’s -40 degrees outside. Add some jalapéno for a kick, and you’re ready to impress your friends at the next holiday party.

Hot Pumpkin Butter Rum Cocktail

I went through a hot buttered rum phase in the winter of 2016. I had just learned to make them in a cocktail class, and damn, move over Martha Stewart. JK, my friends and I drank them so much because one batch literally lasts a lifetime. The perfect drink to prepare ahead of time, whip these out on any occasion and you’ll instantly become the most popular person in the room.

Holiday Cheermeister Bourbon Punch

My mom makes a variation of this every year on Christmas. Modify this recipe with some lemon juice to brighten up the drink and cut the sweetness, and you’ll be shouting “ho-ho-WOAH” by night’s end. Pretty much the highlight of my year, and now it can be yours too!

German Mulled Wine

The season’s not complete without a classic mulled wine recipe. Snuggle in with your BFFs, festive movies, and some mugs of this, and you’ll be feeling the Christmas cheer in no time!

Holiday Moscow Mule

It seems the GG office has recently jumped on the Mule bandwagon, and I’m all for that. The great thing about this cocktail is it can be adjusted for any occasion of your choosing. For the winter months, lots of cranberries, and freshly squeezed lime juice are a MUST. Add some winter citrus to brighten up the flavors even more!
