In February of 2018, we had the absolute pleasure of working with a paleo nut butter and granola company on their online presence. Lizz spearheaded this account and was able to achieve unbelievable results from day one. In fact, the results are so great that we felt we just had to share them with all of you!

The Client

Julie’s Real is a Dallas-based granola and nut butter brand. Their focus on all-natural ingredients makes their products taste homemade, unlike the ‘big guys.’ In addition to their great taste, all Julie’s Real products are non-GMO, soy-free, paleo-friendly, and dairy-free. You can find their products in a variety of stores around the country, including Jewel Osco and Sprouts. Although the company had been around for a number of years prior to working with Gossip Genie, their social media channels lacked visibility and consistency. With little to no engagement and a modest fanbase, we grew each of their channels through both organic and paid strategies, thus increasing their visibility and online store visits.

The Goals

After assessing their current online presence and fan base, our team was able to curate a comprehensive social media strategy for the Julie’s Real team based on the following goals:

  • Find and target new and existing Julie’s Real fans with our social media posts
  • Position Julie’s Real as the best paleo granola/Cashew and Almond Butter on the market
  • Create cohesive messaging, both visual and written, that will serve to remind fans about Julie’s Real’s high-quality, healthy products, and where to purchase
  • Stay top-of-mind for the primary household shopper

The Results

In just one year, we increased the existing Julie’s Real fan base by 347.9% on Facebook. The page went from just over 3,000 fans to 16,670. Impressions and engagement also saw an incredible increase. In 2018, we procured 12.8 million impressions on the Julie’s Real Facebook page. This increase in Facebook impressions can be accredited to our video work on the page, as well as our comprehensive paid advertising strategy. Check out one of our favorite videos below. 👇

Instagram’s fan base exploded – from 3,107 fans to 7,574 total fans. The 143.7% increase in Instagram followers was matched by an equally impressive 38.5 thousand engagements on the account. With a number of talented photographers on our team, we were able to build a visually-pleasing Instagram feed for the brand, driving engagement.

In just one year of working with Julie’s Real, we were able to secure 2.8 thousand engagements on Twitter by targeting potential fans and interacting with them. In addition to an increase in engagement, the page also saw a 14,000% increase in impressions.
