It’s that time of year again where (most of the country) is experiencing dull days that are frigid and gray. In the world of social media marketing, we like to display what’s in front of us in the most attractive way possible, so our audience will get excited about what we are putting forward. This being said, you may find it difficult to translate a bright and lively atmosphere on your feed when there isn’t much inspiration out the window.

Here are three ways to make it look like you (or your clients’) online presence never left the sun:

  • Think color.

When we hear the word “vibrant” we most likely imagine colors that are vivid and saturated. Make sure this look stays on your feed—even though it might not be a true representation of what it looks like outside. Have your feed be an escape for your audience.

  • Think people.

Cold weather tends to get people indoors and in a solitary mood. You want your audience to feel comfort from your feed. Showing people’s expressions and emotions help with making posts more personable.

  • Think action.

Movement makes everything feel a little more vibrant. Don’t let your social media page be static. Adding videos and photos that depict motion will give energy to your feed. Make your audience want to get up and get moving because of your posts.
